Two traditions, jazz and flamenco, share the stage in a show that proves that musical boundaries disappear in the presence of true talent. A masterpiece in a format that sees more than 20 musicians. It's no coincidence that an institution as prestigious as the French Academy of Jazz has given Jorge Pardo the award for Best European Jazz Musician. The award recognizes the skill and musical wisdom of an artist who has taken his combination of jazz, flamenco and other music on stages worldwide. The orchestral arrangements of one of his most recent record, 'Huellas', and the stage presence of such a group of musicians including the Original Jazz Orchestra from the Taller de Músics (Musicians Workshop), directed by David Shepherd, make this concert a musical extravaganza featuring the guitar, palmas and cajón just as much as the brass section of the orchestra, the marimba and the double bass.
