Jamboree gets ready to shake for two nights with Los Saxofonistas Salvajes (The Wild Saxophones), a project from Dani Nel·lo influenced by musicians from the 1950s who redefined the role of the saxophone in popular music with a visceral and subversive language. The tenor sax was the cornerstone on which R&B and early rock 'n' roll were built. On their album, Nel·lo and company cover 14 tracks by biggies of the instrument, such as Arnett Cobb, Nobble Watts and Red Prysock. Expect a night of fast-paced music served up by seven top musicians.
