The JamborItàlia cycle is back with a very special first concert representing the Jamboree debut of the prestigious pianist Enrico Pieranunzi and personal memories of the figure of Chet Baker, who performed at the Jamboree for the first time in 1963, as Pieranunzi recorded an album, Soft Journey, with him in 1980. For the 27th anniversary of this recording, Pieranunzi will revisit some of this repertoire with tunes including “My Funny Valentine” and “Night Bird”, as well as presenting his own numbers.
