Joan As Police Woman

Joan As Police Woman is the personal project of Joan Wasser, one of the artists who emerged during the second wave of independent rock out of New York in the first decade of the 2000s – the same that brought us TV on the Radio, Interpol and Radio 4. She's managed to gain experience and fans along the way to bring her to 2019 in full form. In her work, Joan shows off her fondness for guitars, personal lyrics and a strong, self-sufficient female image that's even more enhanced on this tour: she's the only person onstage, playing piano and guitar as she presents 'Joanthology', a review of her 15-year career.
