Time Out says

In the mid-nineties, the New York Times rated the coming together of Larry Goldings, Peter Bernstein and Bill Stewart as the best organ trio of the decade. Two decades later, the line-up has been revived and their new album, Live at Smalls, transmits the vitality, complicity and energy of the members. As well as his own career, Goldings has been on the roster of Jim Hall, Pat Metheny, Maceo Parker and John Scofield; Bernstein has done the same with Jimmy Cobb, Sonny Rollins and Brad Mehldau, as has Bill Stewart with Michael Brecker, Lee Konitz and Joshua Redman. It would be a mortal sin for any self-respecting fan of music in general, and jazz in particular, to miss them.

Larry Goldings Hammond B3, Peter Bernstein guitar, Bill Stewart drums.
