María José Llergo

With a slow but firm step, María José Llergo is quickly becoming one of the new names on the flamenco scene. Originally from Córdoba, she learned to sing in the countryside while listening to her grandfather, but she’s perfected her craft here in Barcelona. After releasing a few singles, Llergo has finally graced us with her first record, ‘Sanacíon’ (2020). The seven-track EP showcases the young star’s sound as she continues to explore her expansive voice.
