The Barcelona Symphony and Catalonia National Orchestra (OBC) kick off their season of concerts with at date during the Mercè festivities. The OBC's conductor, Kazushi Ono, leads the ensemble, whose repertoire includes works by various composers, among them Dvorák, Tchaikovsky, Smetana, Massanet, Bizet and Elgar. The programme has been specifically crafted for audiences who don't usually see the OBC at their home concert hall, L'Auditori.
