OBC: Verdi's Requiem

Japanese conductor Kazushi Ono directs the OBC (Barcelona Symphony and Catalonia National Orchestra) three concerts, including the great funeral mass composed by Giuseppe Verdi in 1873, impacted by the death of Italian poet Alessandro Manzoni. This production features two of the choirs from the Orfeó Català, both the adult and the youth choirs, as well as a quartet of solo vocalists: Cristina Ferri, Ana Ibarra, Bruno Ribeiro and Michele Pertusi. Also new are accompanying visual art projections.
