Primavera Club 2015: U.S. Girls + Shura + Jessica Pratt + Fraser A. Gorman...

This second day of the Primavera Club series of concerts gets off to a strong start in both rooms at the Teatre Principal, with live performances by Shura (10.30pm), the voice of the new English and hypnotic pop and an elegant mix of R&B, melancholy synth-pop, soul and electronica; U.S. Girls (9.25pm), a project of Meghan Remy's, who's spent nearly a decade sampling from electronica and pop and now debuts on the prestigious label 4AD; shiny signature folk from Australian musician Fraser A. Gorman (10pm), a rising star from the same label as Courtney Barnett; and Jessica Pratt (8.55pm), who takes a more classical approach to folk with influences from '60s greats. Local music is represented by the personal universe of Hazte Lapón (8pm) and the pop melodies with an '80s flavour of Bastante (8.30pm).
