Time Out says

Discovered by Ayo's producer, Malick N'diaye, Nadia Mladjao – better known as Imany – stepped off the catwalk and onto the stage to carve out an interesting music career in Paris. Her first album, 'The Shape of a Broken Heart' (2011) went platinum in France and triple platinum in Poland. She was responsible for the soundtrack of the 2014 film 'Sous les jupes des filles' (also called 'French Women'). Her influences range from Billie Holiday to Nina Simone to Tracy Chapman. Imany is back in Barcelona with new songs in an acoustic format after playing the Palau de la Música Catalana two years ago.
