Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra

Currently one of Russia's most outstanding orchestras, the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic are back at the Palau de la Música Catalana, directed by Yuri Temirkanov. The programme is dedicated to two works by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1, featuring soloist Behzod Abduraimov; and Symphony No. 5, a piece that made its debut in Saint Petersburg itself in 1888.
