Sir John Eliot Gardiner - Mozart's Mass in C Minor

Music, Classical and opera
John Eliot Gardiner

An unmissable event for classical music aficionados, this performance at L'Auditori is part of a six-date Mozart tour of major European cities by conductor Sir John Eliot Gardiner and his Monteverdi Choir and English Baroque Soloists. The programme features Mozart's Great Mass in C Minor, one of the Austrian composer's last efforts at a musical setting for the mass (although he didn't actually complete it, the piece was premiered in Salzburg in 1783), and Symphony No 40 in G minor (written, along with the 39th and 41st symphonies during a prolific summer in 1788).
