The second installment of Sonar by Day brings us a whole new line-up of acts, such as the powerful alliance formed by Adrian Sherwood, artist, producer and founder of legendary dub label On-U Sound, and Pinch, one of the freshest faces of dubstep; multifaceted and adventurous Jamie Lidell, who, for the 20th anniversary of the festival presents a new self-titled album that he's remixed like nobody's business soul, IDM, funk and dance music; the esteemed London group Foreign Beggars, who have long cultivated their own variants of rap, grime and dubstep; Uwe Schmidt (Atom TM), who returns to Sónarto present his new album 'HD', which, in the words of Schmidt himself, is 'a spiritual, musical and scientific work'; the exquisite and visionary young Icelander Ólafur Arnalds, appearing as part of a trio to present his third album, 'For Now I Am Winter'; and DJ sets from the likes of Matthew Herbert and Modeselektor.
