The second day of Sónar by Day brings in acts such as Floorplan, with the father of minimal techno, Robert Hood, and his daughter Lyric, presenting the world exclusive premiere of their live show; young British producer Evian Christ, presenting his much-anticipated first LP at last; a new album and a new live show from fellow Brit, Clark; a double show (at SónarVillage on Friday and SónarPub on Saturday) by Fat Freddy's Drop, one of the most popular band's to ever come out of New Zealand, mixing dub, funk, soul, reggae, blues, ska and their own rhythms of electronic dance such as house and techno; the queen of Catalan dancehall Bad Gyal; Spanish trap from Kinder Malo & Pimp Flaco; Argentinean singer Juana Molina, presenting her new electronica album; and Marie Davidson with synthesizers, beat boxes, sequencers, portable recorders and pedals, presenting her project Bullshit Threshold.
