Susana Sheiman & Original Jazz Orquestra Taller de Músics

  • Music, Jazz

Time Out Says

Susana Sheiman is one of the most powerful, explosive vocalists on our particular jazz planet. After her time as the brilliant singer of the Barcelona Jazz Orquestra and her amazing album with the pianist Ignasi Terraza’s trio, Swing Appeal, she is now leading her most personal group with the Open Gate band, alongside musicians like the saxophonist Toni Solà and the double bass player Artur Regada. The chance to see her in action with a big band behind her again is one not to be missed, and even more so if we are talking about the Original Jazz Orquestra from the Taller de Músics conducted by David Pastor, with which she has prepared a repertoire for the occasion.

Susana Sheiman vocals, David Pastor trumpet and leader, Roger Martínez and Roser Monforte alto saxes, Nil Mujal and Víctor Verge tenor saxes, Paula Carrillo baritone sax, Jordi Fontanillas, Pablo Fernández, Jaume Torné and Ángel Girón trumpets, Vicent Pérez, Eva Garin, Eduard Prats and Pere Alcon trombones, Yeray Hernández guitar, Marco Boi double bass, Max Villavecchia piano, Marco Losada drums.
