Since the late-1980s, the Vallés Symphony Orchestra has dedicated one of its 'Simfònics' concerts to the 'Festival de Valsos i Danses'. It's a festive show that includes waltzes and polkas, in addition to many other types of music for traditional dances – just in time to get you in the holiday spirit. This time around, in addition to the music by the Strauss family that's always a must, you'll enjoy pieces by other composers, such as Verdi, Bartók, Montsalvatge, Márquez and Anderson. Andrés Salado is the guest conductor, and Sara Blanch, the soprano soloist.
