Within its opera season, the Gran Teatre del Liceu includes this single concert of one of Wagner's flaship pieces. A big draw is Valery Gergiev as conductor. The orchestra is the Mariinsky Theatre of St Petersburg, while the choir is the Liceu's own. Mikhail Petrenko performs as a soloist, among others.
