At Bodegueta Tot Glòria, a pretty restaurant near Sagrada Familia, Glòria Ortuño has improved on the formula that already proved successful at Ca la Gloria in Gracia. She seeks the highest quality every day "within the limits of what the menu allows", she explains with regards to her daily menu. It features six first and six second courses in addition to dessert, set dishes and daily specials.
A first-course highlight is the flavourful, colourful salad with goat cheese and dried fruit and nuts. Glòria opted to forego the freezer or deep-fryer and instead offer high-quality products that add a distinguishing touch to her dishes, all prepared in extra virgin olive oil that she has been getting from a customer in Murcia for years. Tot Glòria is only open at lunchtime, and its charm has made it extremely popular.
