No turkey, no sweet corn or yogurt, no mechanised spit or electric knives... Just pita bread, top-quality lamb, onion, tomato sauce, and – wait for it! – Tahina sauce. The shawarma is excellent, but they also make good falafels with houmous or baba ganoush, and there’s always delicious baklava (Turkish pastry) for dessert.
