Following reading the review my wife and I booked for a Saturday evening (June 2014). We had asked for indicative dishes and prices when we called in person to make the reservation. We were greeted and the menu read to us as described by the owner. We chose garlic mushrooms to start, followed by Sea Bass shared for two and a recommended Rioja. The venue itself is out of the mainstream, traditional and cosy, just what we were looking for. The mushrooms were good and the Sea Bass was well cooked although it really had nothing more with it than the fish. The owner spent most of his time on his mobile phone walking around the restaurant and this was not in keeping with the ambience and I felt a little rude. The hitherto unconfirmed pricing came in at the end (no coffee or desert) at €107.00. The wine was €19.50. The waitress was clearly embarrassed at the pricing that had been presented. Overall, the food was nice, but not much to it and over priced by a way, we were left feeling that this was not the completely authentic deal we were led to expect and therefore disappointed.
