A delicious secret. Despite its small size, this Basque-Navarre seafood bar is renowned for the quality and size of its tapas. Juan and Felipe, the two owners, take pride in having the only tapas bar in town where you need a fork and knife to eat them. This is no typical tapas bar: they have turned their entire menu into tapas-sized creations, and the results are generous portions of John Dory with prawns, barbecued steak, breaded hake pre-cooked in lemon, wine and herbs, and breaded cod with eggplant. All served with bread spread with tomato and topped with fried onions and peppers. And don’t miss another of the house specialities: Juan’s excellent gin & tonics.
