Even before Catalan cuisine underwent a revival in the city, L'Olivé restaurant had for many years been serving high-quality casseroles, stews and esqueixada, and using fine glassware and linen serviettes. It's certainly not cheap, but you only have to try the habas a la Catalana (served with spring onions and sausage) to realise that it is seasonal produce from the best suppliers that makes a good meal and, therefore, a good restaurant.
