Happ Barcelona is a space in the Born neighbourhood that's made for things to happen. It embraces the concept store formula, and in that vein brings together fashion brands, accessories, perfumes and stationery items, but the idea is to go a little further with a different kind of project. They offer the space to creatives and brands looking for a place to work – the tenants even have access to a kitchen – and they'll rent out the premises for events. This makes for a lack of architectural barriers in Happ, so the store can change its look easily, something that the designers behind the project have learned in their experience working for large retail chains.

So what will you find in this select bazaar with a name inspired by happenings? A mix of local talent and international collections without much exposure: have a look at the handcrafted books from Designs Tandem, French lingerie by Dement, Encuire bags and Eyevan 7285 Japanese glasses, plus clothing from The Fifth, Cameo, Keepsake and Begoña Noya.
