Time Out says

Coinciding with but not technically a part of La Mercè, the Mostra de Vins i Caves de Catalunya (Catalan Wine and Cava Tasting) returns to the Barcelona waterfront this year. From September 21 to 24, you can join the wine-tasting festivities at the Marina port, between the Torre Mapfre and Hotel Arts. Twelve wine and cava labels from 70 wineries around Catalonia will be on offer, in addition to local sausage, cheese, tinned fish, desserts, and sweet and savory pies. The 'Mostra' is a great way to familiarise yourself with the many different types of DO Catalan wines, and also a fun and easy way to learn more about wine culture in general. As always, you're free to move around the area, sampling wines as you please. If you prefer a more involved experience, presentations and guided tastings will provide the opportunity to ruminate over the finer points of Catalan wine culture.
