Barcelona Hotel Rooftop Terrace Week 2018

Chef Fran López, with two Michelin stars to his fame, teaches this masterclass on how to cook the perfect rice dishes with nettles, with lobster, and green chlorophyll rice with duck from the Delta.

Do you dream of creating the perfect cocktail but are afraid to try mixing anything other than rum and Coke? Juan Torres uses the spirits from the Bodegas Familia Torres – gin, pisco and brandy – and makes magic. Pay close attention and take notes, as it's not only about throwing the bottle around behind the bar.

The star of the rooftop terrace at the Ohla hotel is its glass swimming pool, where for the past few years during Hotel Rooftop Terrace Week we've been able to see an incredible synchronized swimming show starring the championship Junior Spain team of the Kallipolis Synchronized Swimming Club, trained by Anna Tarrés. It's your chance to see up close everything that happens under the water.

Settle in for some live music with British singer-songwriter and musician Adam Giles Levy, getting bluesy and soulful on the rooftop terrace of the H10 Metropolitan. If you can't make it Friday night, he's on at the H10 Universitat on Thursday the 7th at 7pm as well.

With summer on the horizon, it's a great time for a pool party. Music, drinks, and a great vibe, plus, it's on a rooftop terrace atop a four-star hotel in the centre of Barcelona. The family version is the next day (Sun 10th, 11.30am), with a magic workshop included.

The musical programme at Spirit 1919, the concert hall in El Palace hotel that makes you feel like you're in a hidden bar, moves for a few days to the magic Diana Garden. The name of the hotel might give you a hint as to which famous movie star the Vincci Mae dedicates its rooftop film cycle. And if not, then maybe you guessed it from the photo. That's right, it's a Mae West mini film fest, with three sessions to delight in the beauty, strength and irreverence of the American actress who had her heyday in the 1930s and 1940s though her career spanned seven decades.
