Time Out says

Carles Casagemas and Juli Vallmitjana as painters and writers, and Fracisco Madrid as a journalist – just a few of the names linked to the chronicles of Barcelona's underworld. We wonder what Casagemas would paint today, here and now, after having the chance to see his exhibition. As every first Sunday of the month, the National Museum (MNAC) offers free entry so you can visit the permanent collection as well as the exhibition 'Casagemas. The Artist Beneath the Myth', in which everyday scenes or disturbing female figures contrast with the iconography of regular folk and brothels. Open day at the MNAC and roundtable with Dani el rojo, a writer who used to be a bank robber; Jordi Solé, writer and journalist; and Eduard Vallès, the exhibition curator. Moderator: Josep Miquel Faura, Head of Public Management or the MNAC.
