Design Market 2017

It's the sixth edition of a market that oozes design from its pores. The products and producers who come together for the market are chosen by members of the FAD (Foment de les Arts i del Disseny, or 'Promotion of Arts & Design') associations representing the various design disciplines and whose goal is to promote creators, makers and products that are highlighted for being avant-garde and of high quality and superior design: from lights to toys, and including furniture and textiles, as well as accessories, kitchen utensils, ceramics and pottery, pieces made from recycled materials... Each year a different team of emerging designers is chosen to bring the market together, and this year it's the work of Takk studio. There will also be a gastronomy area with young entrepreneurs in the restaurant field who pay special attention to design in their work. You'll also find workshops having to do with the world of design for adults and children.
