Time Out says

Brazil Day is back in Poble Espanyol on Sunday September 9 to celebrate its tenth edition in in style, with big names on the Brazilian music scene, an extensive gastronomic offering, and a complete programme of activities and events having to do with Brazilian culture.

Live music is brought to you by well-known artists of popular Brazilian music Margareth Menezes and Tulipa Ruiz, the young band Ganza, and a very special concert to celebrate a decade of the festival with artists who live in Barcelona and have performed during the festival in previous years. DJs Mychel Castro and Massafera Soundsystem will have you dancing your heart out.

The United School of Samba of Barcelona and Cordao de Ouro bring dance and 'batucada' percussion to the festival. The kids' area features workshops, games, capoeira, storytelling and a space for the littlest ones (up to three years old).

One of the big attractions is the food area, which this year offers options for all tastes, including flavours from Brazil and its neighbouring countries, all at pleasing prices.
