Time Out says

In line with the International Day of Dance, this year, the APdC (Association of Dance Professionals of Catalonia) are organising a dance performance for April 29 at 1.15pm on La Rambla, in front of the Department of Culture at No. 8. The performance will last about 10 minutes, with the object of getting more support for the art of dance: spreading the word, getting more of a presence in education, better working conditions for dancers, and a long list of etceteras. If you head down toward the bottom of La Rambla for the show, you'll enjoy 40 tap and flamenco dancers doing their thing under the direction of Guillem Alonso and Mudit Grau. In addition, in order to try to get more shows and more of the public in to theatres, there will be other performances by experienced professional dancers of loads of different styles. You'll be able to check them out in the lobbies of several theatres in the city (Teatre Nacional de Catalunya at 7.40pm, and Mercat de les Flors, Teatre Lliure and Teatre Romea at 8.15pm). Find all the programming on the APdC website.
