Holi Barcelona 2017

Catch the train to Santa Coloma for the seventh edition of the Festival Holi Barcelona, one of the biggest celebrations on the Hindu calendar, which is also called the festival of colours and the festival of love, as it crosses class, caste and origin. It's also a celebration of spring, and there will be plenty of Bollywood music to go along with the colours.

Starting at 11am with Bollywood dance performances, the festival's big moment is when they launch the coloured dry powder, at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm. You're advised to wear old clothes, preferably white, as it's tradition and the colours show up that much more!
