La Mercè 2016: Parc de la Trinitat

Who knew that a nest of communications towers surrounded by a tangle of motorways would have a peaceful green zone at its heart? If you haven't been to Parc de la Trinitat yet, La Mercè is a great time to do just that. The festival fills the area for two days, changing the park into a space dedicated to circus, dance and the newest urban arts. Among the programming for Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 is the Circus and Dance Combination coordinated by artistic director Mónica Lucchetti, as well as some 20 shows featuring the best circus and dance performers both in and out of Barcelona.
