See City Hall in a whole new light with the screening of different light shows on its façade

The façade of Barcelona City Hall is once more one of the protagonists of La Mercè thanks to one of the most popular and newest traditions of the festival: the screening of light shows in Plaça de Sant Jaume. This year, the shows are organised by the German company UrbanScreen, which has taken the world of dance as the inspiration for its creation. They turn the front of the Ajuntament building into a dance stage and, at the same time, a mirror for the emotions and feelings of the artist performing the featured choreographies, Marina Rodríguez (of contemporary dance group La Veronal) and Lluc Fruitós (from street dance company Brodas Bros).
