Time Out says

Every Friday and Saturday from June 7 to September 14, La Pedrera (aka Casa Milà) has been the epicentre of jazz in Barcelona. The rooftop terrace of the Gaudí building on Passeig de Gràcia has been transformed into an exceptional stage, where you've ben able to enjoy warm summer nights, incredible city views, and the coolest live jazz. La Pedrera Jazz starts with a visit at your own pace to the attic, followed by a drink on the amazing rooftop terrace, where you can appreciate the architecture, the night, the city and the jazz. Don't miss the closing concert of the series, featuring Joan Mar Sauqué and his 'Quintessence', an album where he sets out to bring back the repertoire of composers who, despite having a huge influence on musice from the 1940s and 1950s, were eclipsed by the fame and celebrity of other artists. This evening the focus is on saxophone player and writer Gigi Gryce, who, starting in 1953, collaborated with the likes of Clifford Brown, Tadd Dameron, Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk, Coleman Hawkins, Quincy Jones... some of the stars of the day. But in 1962 after a decade of intense musical activity, Gryce unexpectedly stopped playing.
