Magic Nights at Casa Batlló 2019

Casa Batlló invites you to spend magic summer nights on their Terrat del Drac (Dragon Terrace) enjoying a glass of cava, a snack and live music under the stars. The concert series features artists from a variety of genres, such as La Mar de Ruma, a mix of jazz fusion, bossa nova and rumba from María Blanco and David Torras; Arkano, with a tribute to Tom Jones; Wom & Strings, a trio of Ana Fernández, Marta Roma and Úrsula Amargós on violin, viola and cello, playing a range from classic to pop; Yessia, who, accompanied by guitarist and percussionist David Correas, offers a fusion of flamenco with touches of pop and soul; and Luna Llena, a duo of Spanish guitar and flamenco dance with Sergi Vicente and Juan Ruano. And finally, an innovative artistic project of sand art from Didi Rodan.

Returning acts this year include jazz and swing from Gisela Novais & The Blue Summers; British-Catalan singer-songwriter Monica Guecho; versatile English singer Lexter; Al Sánchez & The Speedway Runners with their tribute to Elvis Presley; Summer Lovers with their jazz, blues, swing and boogaloo; Beatles tribute band Scarbeats; local Barcelona artist Carmen Porcar; the sweet voice of Marga Mbande; and finally singer, guitarist and songwriter Gigi MacFarlane.
