Time Out says

The nativity scene ('pessebre' in Catalan) in Plaça Sant Jaume has a special source of inspiration this year: the rooftops of Barcelona. The characters of the traditional nativity scene this year stroll through a universe of urban rooftops, with the views of the roofs and withthe elements of contemporary Barcelona. Though the emphasis is on the outdoors, you can also take a peek inside the houses via a facade with balconies from which you can see scenes from daily life with a Christmas ambience.
