Time Out says

The Barcelona metro relives its first journey from 1924 in the wee hours of May 4 to May 5. This time travel adventure on the historic train M1-M6-M8 will head out from the Sagrada Família station and along the tracks of L2 to the La Pau station, and eventually back to the Sagrada Família station. The event will take about two hours, and this year it's a tribute to the Metro Transversal, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary since the first train on this line, between Bordeta and Plaça de Catalunya took place on June 10, 1926.

At the Sagrada Família station you'll also find a photography exhibition marking the event, and a bit before the train sets off, at half past midnight, the Association of Friends of the Barcelona Metro, Andén Central, will discuss the images, highlighting anecdotes in their historical context.

Tickets are available at the TMB office in the Plaça Universitat metro station for just €5 each.
