From September 24 to 26, the Barcelona Design Museum hosts the 20th edition of the OFFF festival, a huge international event in the creative sector full of new trends in graphic design, videos, photography, advertising, cinema and editorial art that features, among other things, 60 workshops and activities and brings in more than 100 creators and artists from around the globe, putting Barcelona at the epicentre of the world of creativity and design.
Among the invited guests are Barcelona artist lóbulos, who presents 'Opening Film' to get the festival started; Nando Costa, creative director at Microsoft; Josh Higgins, chief creative officer at Facebook; Vallée Duhamel, a studio that specialises in high-quality video, visuals and video installations with a slant toward a playful and experimental approach to work; and many more.
The OFFF festival closes with the audiovisual piece 'Main Titles', directed by GMUNK (San Francisco), one of the biggest design and visual directors in the world. The piece is set to be a big draw, as it features each and every one of the stars of this edition of the festival.
