Parallel Christmas Markets

Enjoy the fruit of a collaboration between monthly market Eat Street and the Mercat de la Terra Slow Food market, which takes place every Saturday in the Tres Xemeneies park in Poble-sec. Parallel Markets sets up in the same spot – Tres Xemeneies – on December 22. You'll find suppliers from Slow Food Barcelona with great fresh produce that's grown seasonally and locally, just ready to fill your shopping bag with healthy and sustainable food in time for your holiday cooking. Eat Street chefs will be on hand to prepare hot street food to combat the chill in the air, from places such as Mexico, Italy and India, among other latitudes. And it all comes with a side of live music throughout the day, a kids' play area, and jazz in the evening with Diorama Jazzband.
