The dining area at Glòries isn't your run-of-the-mill shopping centre food court – there are even some first-rate restaurants. So to show off what they've got, they're putting on a tapas route until February 20, where you can get a tapa and a drink for €2.95. How do you get in on the offer? Easy: just ask for the Tapaporte card in any of the 18 participating restaurants, and show it when you head to the next spot to be sure you get it stamped.
Some of the mouth-watering dishes include grilled foie escalope with cream of corn, and Casa Palet's 'ensaladilla rusa' (a type of potato salad, usually with tuna and mayonnaise), served with yucca crisps. Or you might go for the crispy coca bread with 'morcilla' (Catalan blood sausage). Other spots participating in the Ruta de Tapas are: Frutas del Mundo, Andrés, Giovanni, McDonalds, Udon, Butipà, Casa Palet, Can Culleretes, Shokolatt, Mediterranean, Drink & Eat, Be Japó, Panchito, Enrique Tomás, Cañas y Tapas and Ingredientes Café.
Once you've acquired a minimum of five stamps, you'll get a gift on the spot from the Customer Service Point, and you'll be entered to win four coupons worth €500 toward dining in Glòries and a voucher for Carrefour Travel Agency valued at €1,000.
