Time Out says

The Parliament of Catalonia invites everyone to be a part of the public reading of 'Memòries', by Aurora Bertrana, on Friday April 21 in honour of Sant Jordi's Day. The collective reading will be performed for the first time in front of the Parliament façade in the Parc de la Ciutadella. Don't worry if you don't understand Catalan, just go along between 11am and 1pm to be a part of this cultural event, which is part of Bertrana Year, commemorating the births of Prudenci Bertrana (150 years ago) and his daughter Aurora Bertrana (125 years ago), both important Catalan writers.

In addition to 'Memòries', there will also be a reading of 'La poesia', by Antònia Vicens, a poem that has been translated into some 20 languages, and was chosen by the Institute of Catalan Letters (ILC) to celebrate World Poetry Day 2017.

During the readings, the saxophone quartet Kebyart Ensemble, made up of students from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya music school, will perform various pieces.

This marks the 13th edition of this public reading event, which has until now taken place incide the Palau del Parlament.
