The Influencers 2016: Heather Dewey-Hagborg + William Binney...

The second day of The Influencers festival at the CCCB includes a screening of the documentary 'A Good American' (2015) by Friedrich Moser, on at 5pm in the Hall. The film is about the USA's sophisticated programme to watch out for terrorist threats, ThinThread, developed by William Binney, an expert in code deciphering and one of the most important whistleblowers in the last two decades. Binney also participates in a talk in the Hall at 7pm following the film screening. Or you can check out 'Art of the Prank' from Andrea Marini, a documentary about New York artists Joey Skaggs, the so-called godfather of media hoaxes (5pm in the Auditori); and a presentation by Heather Dewey-Hagborg (7pm in the Hall), a multidisciplinary artist and educator interested in art as investigation and critical practice.
