The Maria Canals Competition leaves pianos round BCN

From March 5 to 18 Barcelona is the world piano capital with the 62nd edition of the Maria Canals International Music Competition. As an event in tandem with the prestigious competition and to open the event to the people around the city, the festival fills certain areas of Barcelona with pianos, such as in ​​Passeig de Gràcia, where, on March 5, ten grand pianos stand along the street, from Plaça Catalunya to the Jardinets, so anyone who wants can take a turn at them, between 11am and 8pm. You'll also find pianos in El Born Cultural Centre (March 6), La Pedrera (March 7), the Palau Robert (March 8), the Gran Teatre del Liceu (March 10) and the Palau de la Música Catalana (March 17), among other places around town.
