Time Out says

Coinciding with the World Music Day, which is celebrated every June 21, the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya (OBC) for the past three years has done something slightly different from their usual performances in the Auditori or similar venues: they put on a concert on the beach (in front of the W Hotel). Last year the event brought in some 15,000 music lovers. This year's programme features popular works including Beethoven's Symphony No 7, Dvořák's No 9, Mendelssohn's 4th, Rossini's William Tell Overture, and the soundtrack from the 2012 film 'The Impossible'. An original and refreshing way to welcome the summer.
