The Shopping Night Barcelona 2015

It's time once again for one of the most popular and anticipated pre-Christmas events in Barcelona. Passeig de Gràcia is the place to be for a night of shopping and surprises, which this year pays tribute to William Shakespeare to mark the upcoming 400th anniversary of his death in 2016.

Not only will it be a night for browsing around the Eixample in shops that will be open until 1am, but there will also be activities for everyone spread along the street, with performances like the one from theatre company Parking Shakespeare; Shakespearean sonnets from Teatre Akadèmia featuring international performer Uma Ysamat; classical and contemporary dance based on the Bard's works with the Estudio de Baile Neus Gallardo; and an urban exhibition organised by the Reial Cercle Artístic, among many other things to do. You'll also get to indulge in the offerings of the now-ubiquitous food trucks.
