Time Out says

OK, so this isn't Los Angeles with its canyons full of celebrity residents. But still, the lesser-enjoyed views you can get from some of the hills beyond the popular Turó de la Rovira are stellar. Between the Carmel neighbourhood, Park Güell and El Coll, there are streets surrounded by greenery that give you various panoramic views of the Eixample and beyond. And if you climb up to the top of some of the hills, which few visitors do, you'll feel like you're doing a bit of walking in the mountains without leaving the city limits, and while taking in what seems like the whole of the Mediterranean.
