VeggieWorld is Europe's biggest and oldest vegan lifestyle fair. Barcelona, which was the first city in the world to be declared 'veg-friendly', hosts VeggieWorld over the first weekend in April. Visitors will find products and innovations from the areas of gastronomy, fashion and cosmetics among some 70 stalls. Documentaries, conferences, showcooking and yoga classes will also be on offer.

Pretty dissapoiting. After paying 7euros to get in it was super crowded and boring. We stood in line for over an hour and a half to get Arabic food and we had to give up just to stand in another line in which we ordered vegan burgers. To find out the wait for them would be 45 minutes. So we waited another hour with no luck got our refund waited another half an hour bought a smoothie and left hungry, angry and dissapointed. What a waste of time and energy. Very disorganized and trully uneventful experience. Not worth the time or money. Do yourself a favor and just go out to eat there are plenty of vegan restaurants around there. Praise the animals in some other way...

I must say that i am totally disappointed about this Veggie World Barcelona... I know it's the first time in the city but in comparison to the other VeggieWorld, that one is terrible... It's empty... Not a big choice of food, drinks, clothes, shoes... In London, Paris or Lyon, it was full of food that you can try and then buy. Here, in the First Veggie friendly city in the world (they say so) there was absolutely nothing.... We stayed an hour and we left... We tried a vegan kebab and it was not tasty at all. Is it supposed to convince non vegan people ? Seriously ? Check out the videos of the other veggie world in other cities and you will see the difference with the one in Barcelona !!!! I couldn't wait to go and we even prepare 200 euros in cash to eventually buy some nice food for home and we spent nothing because there was nothing to buy !!! Nothing that we can't already find in ecocentre here in Barcelona...
