World Basketball Festival 2014

Brought to you by Nike and Jordan Brand, the third World Basketball Festival is in Barcelona September 6 and 7. It's a tribute to the sport itself and the culture of the best basketball. The World Basketball Festival got its start in 2010, and this year the meeting is in our very own city, which has a long tradition of the sport compared with other cities in Europe, and has produced stars of the US National Basketball Association and basketball legends. Throughout the whole weekend the central court will be full of non-stop activity with three-on-a-side pickup games. The festival will come to an end with an exhibition game featuring the winners of the Chicago World Basketball Festival, a show of spectacular dunks, and a contest of three-pointers with well-known players. Chicago-based hip hop singer Common will close out the festival.
