Time Out says

Once again this year Barcelona is one of the first cities to host the World Press Photo, an exhibition where the winning photographs of the prestigious photojournalism prize are shown. Under the slogan #veureientendre ('see and understand'), the exhibition shows the winning photos from the international competition of the same name, most of which have never before been seen in Catalonia. For 15 years, the exhibition has offered an experience that goes beyond admiring the incredible images. The Educational Area of the Photographic Social Vision Foundation offers an extensive programme of parallel activities and guided visits to schools, companies, at-risk groups and the general public that enrich the understanding of current events and the functions, values and challenges of photojournalism. You can visit this exhibition of the winning photographs (which begins its world tour in Amsterdam) throughout the year in more than 100 cities in 45 countries around the world, reaching a global audience of more than 4 million.
