Time Out says

The huge floorspace is filled with installations and multimedia exhibits created by authors, designers and film and stage specialists, telling Berlin's story from its founding in 1237 to the present day. The 20 themed displays are labelled in both German and English. Underneath all this is a massive nuclear shelter. Built by the Allies in the 1970s, the low-ceilinged, oppressive bunker is still fully functional and can hold up to 3,500 people. Guided tours are included in the price of the ticket.
