Time Out says

Max Liebermann, perhaps the most famous German Impressionist painter, spent his summers in this beautiful house on the shore of Lake Wannsee from 1910 until the premises were confiscated by the Nazis. You can now wander the sumptuous gardens, subject of many Liebermann paintings, view an exhibition of his canvases in the house, or take coffee and cakes in the extremely decent café.
